Youth Choreographic Theatre Program: Rhythm of Roots

Rhythm of Roots biedt een gratis theaterprogramma van 26 weken, waarin beweging, muziek en theater onze gezamenlijke taal worden. Je hebt geen ervaring of taalvaardigheid nodig, alleen nieuwsgierigheid en creativiteit!

Tijdens het programma ontmoet je andere jongeren met verschillende culturele achtergronden. We zijn met een groep van ongeveer 20 deelnemers, dus er is genoeg ruimte om vriendschappen op te bouwen. Daarnaast ontwikkel je jezelf op het gebied van theater, muziek en beweging.

• Dans en fysieke expressie
• Muziek en ritme
• Een sterke artistieke voorstelling opbouwen
• Je voorstelling presenteren op een podium

Our safe space is waiting for you to express, move, and build bridges in Groningen. At Rhythm of Roots, no dictionary is needed to understand each other; your creative spirit is all it takes. 

Here, rhythm becomes our shared language, and movement, music, and theatre become our ways to express ourselves and build bridges between cultures and stories. We offer you a 26‑week artistic journey in Groningen, within a safe space that gives you the freedom to experiment, discover, and express yourself with no prior conditions. 

No previous experience is required, and no language skills are needed. Art is the language that unites us. 

What will you gain?
